Yes. Please remember to pack a snack and lunch every day. We do not have any food available for purchase. If a child does not have a snack or lunch, their parents will be called to bring food to the school for their child.

When can I see the building?
On Monday evening, September 8th, from 6:00 -7:00 pm, we will have staff available to give tours of the school.

Or better yet, …
We have planned a Montessori Parent Education Night.  You will be able to tour the building, meet the staff, and gain Montessori knowledge, all in one evening!  We will offer two times for you to attend this meeting.  Wednesday, Sept. 17th and Wednesday, Sept. 24th. Both of these meetings will provide the same information, and all parents are asked to attend one of the meeting dates.

I don't have a Kindergartener. Can I walk my child into the school?
If you do not have a Kindergarten student, please follow the drop-off/pick-up procedures. We cannot accommodate other families walking in their students due to parking constrictions. We ask that only families with Kindergarten students park and walk in their children. Thank you for your cooperation.

When should my child bring in their school supplies?
Have your child bring in a little each day or if it is easier, they can bring them all in at once. We want to make the drop-off easy for everyone and if we are unloading bags of supplies out of cars, it will slow the line down. Teachers and assistants will gather the supplies daily from each student. Basically they can bring in as much as THEY can carry.  We do not need all of the supplies the first day.

When does before and after care begin?
Click here to get before and after care info and also the registration form. Please check back soon for detailed aftercare class info. We have an exciting new program!

Can I come into the classroom and speak with the teacher about my child?
Please note- the teachers are not available to meet with you before or after school for the first week.  If you need to communicate with comments, questions, or concerns, please use your child’s communication folder. You may also set up a time to meet with your child’s teacher if you call the office. The office will take a message and have the teacher call you back outside of class time. Once your child’s teacher has given you their email address, you may also communicate through email.

I want to volunteer in the classroom. How do I set up a time to volunteer?
Our policy is that we do not have parent volunteers in the classroom until after the first two weeks of school. After that point, we welcome parent volunteers. If you would like to volunteer in your child's classroom, please arrange a time and date with the teacher. It is at the discretion of the teacher on when volunteers are allowed in their classroom. Please be aware that all volunteers need to get paperwork from the front office to get a background check with APS in order to volunteer inside the classroom.

When will the Ice Cream Social be?
We will reschedule it soon and relay the updated info to you as soon as we have a new event date.
